While not the most original of works, as everyone eventually thinks of water droplets as inspirational, Damienn has brought a new layer of beauty into the picture with Broken. At first glance, one gets feelings of awe and delight at the suspended water drop which seems to break the laws of nature with its spherical perfection. The perfection of the droplet is amazing, and there is not an overabundance of ripples as so many others have done. The clean, plain feeling to the piece actually makes it stronger. The lighting is fantastic, and helps to provide depth to the background ripples while also highlighting the aqueous globe. The colors are bright and vivid, and lead the individual to think about what may lie beneath the surface, and perhaps whether our lives are simply ripples under a neutral being. Or, maybe the artist simply thought, "Let's just try to take a beautiful picture today". The effort paid off, and won him a well-earned Daily Deviation.
Beautiful! (really this is all i have to say) i mean really! i have no idea how you could capture this! and the background is almost like a wave coming down on top of the water droplet! Unless it is water! and that would have to be even more amazing! over all i think that most people should look at this and think of it as an inspiration. i know i do. i really think this is beautiful. enough said here. this deserves to be put in a museum! This is what i have to say........ B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! What do you think?
This looks really interesting. What drew me in was the large amount of blue in the picture, since I'm a sucker for my favourite colour The whole water droplet is very pretty, and it must've taken a lot of time and effort to get the right shot. The end result, with the vibrant colours and the clarity, is probably worth it.
