This, is by far one of the most amazing photos I've ever seen! I can't help but feel something, when i see this. It's stunning, and i believe anyone would agree. The colors, are wonderful, the scene, and the idea, are magnificent. You can see everything as it is. The artist certainly shows respect to his art, and understanding of his talent. He demonstrates capability of being a true photographer, and this photograph proves it. I think many young, and older, artist's would be inspired by this. I love how the waves in the water seem so lively, rolling up against the rocks, and the dock. The clouds, are beautiful, and the sunset, or even sunrise, is bright, giving the photo a clean, beautiful, meaningful, appearance.
wow this is absolutely breath taking. Definetly has that HDR artsy kind of feel to it but works out perfectly. One minor thing that is not to my liking is the little sun flare, but other people like those so can't say that is definitely a negative aspect. Again, great capture.
This is an absolutely amaziinngg photograph! I am literally speachless! Do you have any tips on how to do a High Dynamic Range photo like this? Did you use photoshop or a different program? Absolutely fantastic job! Very inspirational
Haha thank you! Well, to get full high dynamic range you should first manage the picture format on the camera settings to Raw (Or Neff in case you're using Nikon). And it might take awhile to fully understand the technique(especially the edit).
After taking three pictures with different exposures i transfer them to Photomatix just to make the HDR processing, and then i work on the Photoshop for the edit.
Okay so I have a question! Yesterday I just went out to try my first HDR! Well, I dont think it turned out to good. I will put it up in just a couple of minutes. I am still trying to figure out how to take good landscape photographs because the picture I took seems to be fuzzy and looks out of focus, when I know for sure It is in focus. What could I be doing wrong?
First my english might not be that perfect, but i'll do my best
Well, first of all you need to make sure the auto focus is set to wherever you need. Then you switch it to manual focus so the camera won't use the auto focus during taking the pictures.
And about the picture, it doesn't look out of focus for me. I think it's the massive HDR editing which totally destroyed the picture. Too much glow from the mountains, and the sky shouldn't be shaded. It also caused way too much grain.
If you really wanna take awesome landscape, you need very wide lens or use panorama technique. Then you should use the rule of thirds, and perspective inside the picture. Something that makes the eye want to see.. Like a path with a perspective. It can make people wonder about that path, and each one of whoever will watch it, instantly use his imagination. But first you need to give them something to focus on, a path or a road is just an example. You can find something that people might won't see everyday. Plus the weather and the time can always help. Cloudy day at the sunset could be great.
And keep practicing on the edit. If you will need any help with edit HDR picture, i can help =] Goodluck!
is it too weird to say this pic actually made me tear up? I've always love photography, and I want to be a photographer, but this..... this is just amazing....for lack of a higher word...I looked away to type this message, eyes dried up, looked at it again, and my eyes watered again. This is maybe the second time in my life I've been this moved by a picture, and it has inspired me to work harder at my dream, which I had been having a hard time finding motivation to do.... Thank you so much. Now to go look at your other works, I haven't even started yet.
