This is a very beautiful shot. I love the variety of colors, and how the lighting is just perfect, and you handled the harsh lighting conditions that accompany most sunsets perfectly. In most cases, sunsets wash out much of the foreground of the photo because of the intensity of the light, or it can make the foreground look unfocused because of the brightness and natural saturation that the sun provides, but this shot was utterly perfect

. I like how your eye is drawn to the color (which is not in the center, and that's always good for creating movement in a piece), but I love that as you examine the rest of the clouds, you find so many fantastic colors and notice that tiny flicker of lightning, adding complexity to the shot. The off-center focus of it makes your eye want to follow that road, adding a feeling of depth, which is really cool. I feel like I want to just walk down the road straight into that stormy sunset and see where it takes me, and never come back

. It is a very inspiring photo, giving a sense of mystery and beauty to what most would see as a plain environment while adding fascination to a sight that many might pass by. It's so breathtaking, you where so lucky to be there for that shot, and you should be very proud of it.
