This is a very simple picture with a great impact, I love it, and here is why.
You have succesfully lent these marbles charming characters. This takes humor, vision and artistic prowess. You have selected the expression based on the reflections at the bottom of each marble, which became the mouths in your composition. The reflections on top could be could be interpreted as hair or kippahs (nice cultural reference). The drawn expressions are spot on!
The reflections on the cloth are wonderful and double as shoulders and the glow I interpret as glowing hearts.
The cloth you chose to use and its colors are a perfect complement to the colors of the marbles. It also works in two more ways: It places your three fellows "on the road" and it produces a landscape in the forground and a horizon/sky in the background.
Did I mention perfect use of depth of field and perfect lighting.

So is this a homage to the Marx Brothers or the Three Stooges?
